Yes, it has finally happened...Madi is mobile...and the world will never be the same. We were beginning to think that she would walk before she crawled since she hates being on her belly so badly, but she did finally begin to crawl several weeks ago. She has no problem pulling herself up once she arrives at her desired location or standing and walking along beside the furniture, and she is quickly getting better at taking steps with assistance. Let's just say her mobility has changed our lives and earned her the nickname "Dennis the Menace" at our house. She has already gotten into more things in the past three weeks than Alli has in 5 1/2 years, and she just gives us that big dimply grin while she does it. It's hard to think that two children from the same gene pool could be so opposite, but God has a sense of humor I'm telling you.

Maybe it's gonna be payback time now since has been such a good baby. (Payback time for James, not you, right?) Love the blog and I have bookmarked it.

It's true...no two children from the same two parents ever seem to be similar in any way! It keeps you on your toes & keeps life interesting! Great pictures, great blog. I will visit often!

So true! I think it is neat how they are all so different. Kara is still doing things that Andy and Emma never did! Let's just say, don't leave Kara alone with a pair of scissors. I found her under the kitchen table tonight about to cut the straps off a pair of sandals. At least it was not the hair this time. :)
