James and I worked on New Year's Eve, but once we got off, we got the girls and headed to Gatesville to see our friends Vonda and Edgar for New Year's Eve. Vonda's parents opened their house to us and a quite a few friends with lots of good food. Vonda and Edgar are living in London right now, but we're hoping they will be back to the States permanently during 2009. We enjoyed visiting with friends we don't get to see that much and watching everyone play Rock Band...nope not quite brave enough to do that yet. I decided it was best that I leave it at a spectator sport. We were all tired so we didn't get to stay until midnight and headed back to Waco. I think Alli may have actually made it to mignight watching tv in our bed while we were passed out asleep! Shocker, I know. The next day we...packed some more boxes...yea!

I know this is a little late, but I'm so glad the you all got to come over. I know you had a million things on your plate, and I really appreciate your time in driving down. Your girls are so cute and I can't believe how big Alli is! Yes, we hope to be back in Texas this year as well! Then maybe it won't be so long between seeing each other...although me flying in from far away does tend to spur the reunions...
